Who We Are
The Han Foundation is a Markham-based non-profit that strives to raise awareness for COVID-19 victims and families. Named after Peter Han, an artist, educator, and community member, this organization was established to honor his memory and legacy. Through the sales of student-made artisan goods, we hope to support our city in this time of need.
PURPOSE & GOALS
Our student-led initiative of local artists and volunteers plans to hold an art gallery-style event in early 2022 to display the works of Peter Han and fellow art students across Markham. Partnering with many art students and creatives, we will be selling various handmade goods such as hair accessories, stickers, and art prints.
Allowing family members to voice their own stories and experiences with COVID-19 and providing volunteer opportunities to students who want to give back to the community, we at Han Foundation hope to make a difference.
